2 danes in my town looking for forever home.

I like to check on craigslist all the time for tools, yard sales, computer, etc etc. I also look at pet section too. I saw ad for 2 danes few days ago. Both are about 3 years old, male and female, male is fawn and his name is bigfoot, female is fawnquin and name is jayden. owners really dont want to get rid of the danes but they both work 60 hours a week, living with father in law who have arthritis and 2 children. and father in law cant help them take care of the danes. ACA vs. AKC??

I've never bought a puppy before, just fostered and rescued with my parents. My wife and I just reserved a great dane puppy for the first time. She is ACA registered, but I've only heard of AKC before (maybe cause I've never bought??) Is ACA registered still good? Thanks much Patrick, Kate, Jake, and Bella(our soon to be )

Hey everyone! I was at the dog park today and I met some Weimariner (sp) breeders. They had 4 of their dogs there, but the stud is not on site the best I can figure. They have OFA certs for hips and I forget what the other one is, but they said they hadn't done patella, and said that with Weims the big thing is the hips. Hey all! I'll be looking for a harl boy in about six months to a year. No fawns, merles, or brindles in the pedigree. I think blues are alright (correct me if I'm wrong) as some blacks are blue bred black. I'd really love it if the neck was all white, as is preferred in the standard, but overall conformation and temperament will come first. oook, so.... I have four lovely dogs who are SUPER important to me. I train, play, and transport them all by myself. I don't have a significant other, nor anyone helping me to provide for them or their needs.

I have a solid decent job that pays alright. I own my own (albeit small) home.

I just got my dane puppy Veda 3 weeks ago and yesterday we had a photo shoot with her at the legilative buildings/gardens here in Winnipeg.

I got a call today from a very nice lady who I think will make a good Dane owner. She had been given my name and number from the breeder we got Zeus from. I gave the breeder my honest recommendation and as a result, she wants to find a GOOD breeder.

My first thought was a breeder in North Carolina named Susan. Unfortunately, I lost her information In the great crash and I couldn't find her in...

I have a 4 1/2 month old harlequin great dane male. He has solid blue eyes and a few black spots on him. He is 59lbs as of yesterday. Unfort. due to hurricane Ike the company I work for is transfering me to Galveston for along time for Electrical work. He is registered with the American Kennel Association.
