So glad to hear all is going well. (I don't know how I missed this thread when you first posted, but some how some way I did, so I am getting all caught up
on it all now!) I like the shirt idea instead of the E collar, but I still think Merley would have found her way around it. I had bruises all up and down my
legs from her accidentally running into me with the edges of the E collar! Although, I do bruise easily.

Hi,
That may be the anesthesia wearing off or Tonka may be cold. Danes chill very easily after surgery. If the shaking hasn't stopped by now and your
concerned, call your vet. Tonka may also be in pain. Ask for pain medicine while your on the phone with him.
I hope your evening goes well. Please keep us posted.

Does the TShirt idea really work, Indy is probably going to be spayed sometime in the next month a half, as she is going to be 11 months, I just know she is
going to be a little pill with the incision sight, even though they stitch on the inside, and the staples are not visble.

I know some people just put a T-shirt on their females to keep them away from the incision. I think we even have some pictures posted somewhere on here.
I'm sure things will go great. It's the waiting and then keeping them calm afterwards, that seems to be the worst part. Before you know it she'll be back to herself.
The cone is a good idea as you don't want her licking or biting at the incision site.
