As a brindle, when Alexii was a little puppy people used to ask "Is that a pit bull"? Now that's he's older(and bigger!) with cropped ears people always ask if he's a great dane but remark "I didn't know they came in that colour, is he a mix?". Sigh.... I usually patiently explain, but it does get old sometimes. Take heart, I'm sure you still have the prettiest dog around(at least I know I do, even if people don't know what he is!)!
