My Nala is starting to slow down ... she was a rescue we adopted from animal control here in town she was 5 when we got her and we've had her for 2 years
now ... It's a bit heartbreaking to watch her grow older ... Guess it's just I know she won't be with us too much longer

I'm sorry...Take comfort in the fact you have her and that you've given her 2 years of love and companionship. Reflect on good times to help you
through the bad.

I know it is hard and sad knowing time may be running out BUT I do agree about trying to feel blessed for you and Nala that 2 years ago you did find her and
adopt her. It is wonderful that you have had that time and however long is left to enrich both of your lives.

Don't get me wrong ... I wouldn't trade a day of the time we have had together .... Sometimes it just hits me, that she won't be here forever and I
do take comfort in knowing we have given her all the best the 2 years she has been with us.

I am sorry to hear that Nala is slowing down, and I agree in remembering the good times to get you through the bad. Take care and hang in there..

I know it's hard, I lost my boxer/lab almost 2 years ago and I still cry sometimes. Just remember the good times and make everyday you have left with her

I'm sorry to hear that she is slowing down. It's heartbreaking to realize that our beloved friends won't be with us as long as we had hoped they
would be.
I lost two of mine to cancer over a two year period and it broke my heart. Know that you have made an amazing difference in her life. |

Take solace in the good years you were able to give her, then give her a big hug. Don't focus on the negative, enjoy, enjoy and enjoy.

Hey we don't know how much time we have here either. Enjoy the river of life; ride the rapids and sail the rest! My heart goes out to you...the tough part
of loving a Dane is knowing that they will not have a long life
 But they do have good lives (hopefully)
