Do all great danes begin to turn grey around the muzzle as they age? At what age does this typically begin? Does the darkness of a puppie's mask(fawns&brindles) seem to affect how grey they eventually wind up becoming? I've seen lots of pictures lately of danes as young as three that are already quite grey, I was just wondering if this was typical. Alexii has a very dark black mask now, however a lot of those aforementioned pictures were of brindles(although they seemed to be more lightly marked than Alexii) and the greying made them look very washed out. I suppose, more specifically, my question is this: do brindles, even if they have a very black mask, inevitably wind up greying early and looking "washed out"?
